General Information

9th European NESY Winterschool & Symposium
on Neutron and Synchrotron Radiation

including topical highlight lectures on

Neutron and Synchrotron Radiation for Industrial Applications
Altaussee (Austria), March 9-13, 2015

The school & symposium will cover introductory tutorials in the morning, contributed scientific talks in the late afternoon, topical highlight lectures in the evening, and a continuous poster session. Graduate students and young scientists just starting to work in this field are particularly encouraged to register and to submit an abstract.

The school venue, the JUFA Altaussee in Styria, is directly located at the slope of the winter resort "Loser" in the "Salzkammergut", which is quite the center of Austria's Alps. Thus excellent possibilities for downhill or cross-country skiing, snow-boarding and alpine ski-touring are close around the hotel. (You can also just enjoy the snowy winter or explore a salt mine!)

Attendance is limited to about 70 participants.
